Cloud@ReCaS provides high level services, based on Heat, the native OpenStack orchestrator. This service is able to manage the entire lifecycle of connected elements via templates (eg. a virtual machine and the attached storage volume, the components of a LAMP stack or applications that rely on several servers like load balancer).

Some of just available templates are:

• Database as a Service (DBaaS): user can instantiate a DBMS (MySQL or PostgreSQL): web-based administrator tool like phpMyAdmin o phpPgAdmin are also available
  

• Business Intelligence as a Service (BIaaS): user can instantiate Pentaho Data Analytics suite, moreover several plugins are just available (eg. Saiku and Kettle for Data Integration) 
  

• Content Management System as a Service (CMSaaS): user can automatically install and configurea CMS like WordPress.
