On Tuesday 12/09/2017 from 14:30 to 20:00 a technical activity will be performed on the border router of the data center, to enable the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and to double the uplink.
During such activity (outbound and inbound) network connectivity may be temporarily lost and all the resources may not be accessible or show a weird behavior.

Periodic maintenance intervention on the UPS system

We inform ReCaS-Bari users that soon there will be the periodic intervention on the UPS system (which guarantees the continuity of the elettric power supply to the ReCaS-Bari farm).

The intervention will be carried out by Emerson, now Vertiv, i.e. the UPS manufacturer.

The intervention, expected for this week, will most likely be carried out next week. We are waiting for more accurate communications from Vertiv.

As with previous interventions on the UPS system, we do not expect any impact on the normal operation of the Farm.

Upgrade to the electrical infrastructure of the Bari Campus

An upgrade to the electrical infrastructure of the Bari Campus will take place from Friday 23/06/2017 at 18:00 to Sunday 25/06/2017 at 23:00. 
This operation is not expected to influence the regular operations of the ReCaS-Bari data center.
All precautions have been taken to avoid possible problems for ReCaS-Bari users, however, some limited interruptions of the WAN connectivity may happen.

All the resources and services provided by the datacenter ReCaS-Bari are now up and running regularly.
